About the Committees
- GHCA committees are the primary way that members can work to better the neighborhood
- Committee co-chairs include at least one member of the Board
- However, any GHCA member can participate in GHCA committees
- You do NOT have to be a member of the Board to participate

Committees
Administrative
Ensures the GHCA operates smoothly, including governance, legal, IT, and logistics
Block Captains
Act as the primary liaisons between the GHCA and residents across Garden Hills
Communications
Manages all GHCA communications including email, text, and GardenHills.org
Fundraising
Builds mutually beneficial relationships with businesses in and around Garden Hills
Infrastructure
Manages parking, pedestrian safety & traffic, sidewalks, roads, and other Garden Hills infrastructure
Membership
Ensures the GHCA is compelling to residents and grows the membership base through outreach
Parks
Maintains and improves the four Garden Hills public parks in collaboration with Atlanta Parks & Recreation
Security
Works closely with the Atlanta Police Department and outside vendors to help keep Garden Hills safe
Social
Plans and manages all GHCA-sponsored social events
Strategic Planning
Develops and guides the long-term strategic direction of the GHCA
Visioning
Evaluates proposed neighborhood investments and shepherds completion of selected projects
Zoning
Manages all Garden Hills zoning-related issues, working closely with GHCA attorneys and NPU-B
