Centennial in the Streets Celebration

Join the Garden Hills Civic Association at Sunnybrook Park and the Garden Hills Rec Center for an evening of live music, BBQ, and fun on October 24, 2025 from 5:30 – 9:00 PM.

The GHCA is bringing you not one but two special events to celebrate the centennial!

To be held between the Garden Hills Rec Center and Sunnybrook Park, this event will be a fun excuse to gather together in the fall weather. It will be a kickoff street party celebration that we hope to repeat for years to come! You can expect:

• Das BBQ 🍖 – Preordering preferred (see link here and below)
• King of Pops 🍧
• A fun neighborly atmosphere for the whole family 🥳
• BYO chairs 🪑🪑 to listen to the band
• BYO drinks: we’ll have some iced tea, water, and a keg (with donation) available until everything runs out
• Live Music from Hot Larry 🎸 (see more info here and below)

Live Music

The live band is “Hot Larry” with none other than Pool board president and Garden Hills resident, Jason Holland. For more details, click here.
